Need some help quick!

Every time I try to save the project, Premiere sucks out an insane amount of memory which then causes the program to freeze up.

Just recently updated to Version 12.1.1 (Build 10)

Running an:

iMac Retina 5K

4 Ghz Intel Core i7

MacOS High Sierra

Is there any sort of update to fix this bug? Or a runaround?!

Hi Jon,

Create a new project and import the old one into this new one.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Vinay. I am trying to import the project but getting the spinning  ball of death on certain files. This is a LARGE project.

If for some reason that does not work, do you have any other suggestions?

The project is on a 12TB hard drive with all the media located there.

Also been trying to use the Media Browser but not sure if it is stuck or just needs quite a bit of time to load?

Is this a network drive or something or you are on a restricted domain?

I don't believe so. I was able to copy a few folders over, but the big ones just seem to load forever...with the spinning ball of death.

Ok, just remove the network cable and check if it helps in loading the project. If yes, save that copy of the project with a new name and work on this new project.
