I'm importing clips from Xbox DVR (that I've used before and play just fine online) into premiere pro and somehow the audio is now desyncing. It worked just fine last night, but today everything I import gets desynced. I haven't changed any settings from then until now, so I don't know why this problem popped up all of a sudden.

Hi james russellb23694456,

Is it possible to share a sample file with us. Steps: Share Adobe Creative Cloud files, libraries, and more

Try to transcode the files in Handbrake & check the status. https://handbrake.fr/

Thanks,

Vidya.

Hi james russellb23694456,

Sorry for the trouble. Just for a test, clear the media cache & check the issue. Here are the steps: FAQ: How to clean media cache files?

What is the dot version of Premiere Pro? Steps: FAQ: How to find the exact version of Premiere Pro you're using?

Import the same files into a new project & check the status.

Thanks,

Vidya

Thank you for those tips,

But I'm still having the desync issue. I have updated to the newest version (12.1.1 build 10) and I cleared everything out of the media cache. Anything else I can try? The problem is only with clips I have downloaded within the past three days. Though those still play fine outside of Premiere Pro.

Thanks.

I downloaded Handbrake this afternoon and that has worked for me. I think I'm going to keep using that.

Thank you for your help,

JR

If you were working fine and you suddenly have the problem that the video is not synchronized, I recommend that you manually delete the folder Peak Files.

Files .cfa and .pek that you can find with the source videos.
