The attached image is what appears in Premiere CC 2018 after importing my video recorded with an XDCAM camera. When I play it on VLC, the image looks normal. If If I import the whole folder named BPAV, with all my metadata and clips inside and play them on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, they look all green and with a mix of violet.
How can I solve this problem? I searched the forums and did not see a solution. I have never had this problem editing with Premiere Pro CS5.
I am using a New XPS 13 on Windows 10.
Can anybody help me? Thanks so much!!
Flor
Hi there,
Sorry for the trouble. The issue seems to be with the GPU driver. Please try the steps recommended in this thread: Green and Pink Video in Premiere Pro 12.0.1 (Build 69)
Thanks,

Are you importing natively or through Media Browser?

I used Catalyst to import from my SD card. I then used the import function in Premiere CC.
The problem seems to have been resolved by changing the settings to Mercury playback software only. Do you happen to know what the difference is?
Thanks for your quick response!

Using Mercury utilizes your GPU over your CPU. Your CPU sounds like it has issues processing your footage while your GPU is working fine.

The problem seemed to be resolved by changing the playback settings. I am not sure why this worked. Maybe someone could help me understand.
File->Project settings->General->Renderer->Mercury playback software only
