Bonjour,
Merci

Hello
Once stored on my hard disk jpg files weigh much heavier than what is advertised at the bottom left of the image window in photoshop.
For example a Visual of 1000 x 530 pixels announced me on photoshop as weighing 1.53 MB. Once saved on my hard drive (iCloud Drive) the jpg file is 24.4 MB. And this happens to me all the time and for a long time that I really have problem because I'm wasting a huge time to then import the files in the various software that I use. Huge waste of time also when

If I understand correctly a likely culprit seems t one ancestor metadata.
Does Save for Web result in a file along the expected size?
If it does check out the Script offered here
Inflated JPG File Size - Photoshop Document:Ancestors Metadata
Otherwise please post such a file.
