Synce Lightroom with mobile Lightroom CC

I've tried following the step by step instructions to sync my Lightroom with my mobile Lightroom CC. When I open Lightroom and click 'Get Started with Lightroom mobile", then click "sync with Lightroom mobile", nothing happens. To the right of "sync with Lightroom mobile" it says sign in. But my account says I am already signed in. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to sync them together?

In LR Classic you need to place photos into a collection and click the lightning icon to the left of the collection name.
