Hi all:

When trying to install InDesign CC Server 2018.1 in a Windows Server 2012 R2 an error message rises.

I had the same problem when installing InDesign CC Server 2017.

It was solved installing some certificates.

We have tried installing many certificates but didn't have success.

Does anybody know wich certificates are needed for the 2018.1 installation?

Thanks.

Miguel

Hi all:

We finally were able to install InDesignServer CC 2018.1.

We had to change the security policies in the server.

Regards.

Have you tried downloading installer again ? Do you use antivirus that could corrupt the installer during the download process ?

Thanks for the answer Loic.

When installing InDesign CC Server 2017 we got  the same problem. The same installer worked fine in my computer but not in the server. It was due to the lack of some certificates.

With InDesign CC Server 2018.1 we have the same problem but we don't know wich are the needed certificates.

Regards.

Hi Miguel,

Would you mind posting which security policy you had to change to install? We're getting the same error when trying to install the application.

Many Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy:

I finnally had the answer to your question. It was not me who modified the security policies and was difficult to talk to whom did it.

Open: Local Computer policy -> Windows settings -> Security Settings -> Public Key policies -> Certificate path validation settings.
