Acrobat DC Freezes when sending PDF

When I send a PDF from Acrobat DC it creates the pdf file to send, but then freezes and I have to force quit every time.

As Acrobat DC is freezing when trying to send a pdf, could you try the troubleshooting steps suggested in this help document: Attach to email option is not working | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC

Could you let us know if there is any error message you are getting when trying to send a pdf? 

Are you sending pdf using Default email application option or webmail option in Acrobat?

Also, let us know the dot version of Acrobat and the operating system - Mac or Windows installed on the machine. You may refer to the steps given in this help document to check the version in Acrobat: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
