A restart of Lr did solve the problem... but who knows what happened?

FYI: I just only imported those pictures 13 in total and completely different from what I imported days before around 800. Same camera, no big changes. 2 pictures of those 13 where "loaded"!

Hi there,

Sorry that Lightroom keeps loading an image in the Develop module.

As you've mentioned that the issue is only with few of the images you've imported recently. Could you check if the issue persists with a different set of images as well? If not so then, please refer the below steps:

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Akash

If you see this more often, go to Preferences - Performance and turn off the use of the graphics processor. See if that solves the problem. I notice you have two very small screens (only Full HD) so using the graphics processor will probably do nothing for you anyway. This is needed for high resolution screens.

The only time I see a considerable advantage to use the GPU is with Premiere. With Photoshop I need to enable, all other products have the GPU currently disabled. I do not have 4k displays.

It works now, only occasional "not responding" under Windows 7 and 10. It's quite annoying but not blocking.
