help! my presets have disappeared ant won't reimport

I got tempted by pretty presets and bought a lot of them, but only a few will reimport after the upgrade, I don't want to have lost all of the others, I haven't had any message about them converting to another format, I don't know what to do. thank you for helping.

thank you i read the article but i have'nt had a message about my presets converting to xmp. i dont know how to reimport them. i get an error message saying the file format isn't being recognised.

The link that Axel provide relates to Lightroom Classic 7.3x, which given your comment "i get an error message saying the file format isn't being recognised" would suggest you're using an earlier version. Best you go to Help > System Info and see what version of Lightroom you're actually using.
