Someone hired me to finish editing a documentary. When they gave me the footage and project files, I opened the project but the clips on the video clips on the timeline slowed down for some reason. All the clips are .MOV files. Some were shot at 50 fps and others were shot at 25fps. When I attempted to change the sequence settings, the problem remained the same. the audio was playing correctly but the video is playing in slow motion. is there any way to fix this?

How is the footage being interpreted?  In the Project Window, right click on a clip, and select Modify>Interpret footage.  Check the frame rate options shown.

Hi BeSoDope,

what are your Settings for the Sequenz/Timeline?

which frame rate is your master frame rate 25 or 50?

Perhapse the 25fps files are the film frame rate

and the 50fps are for little slomos (correct where than 50fps in a 25fps camera timeline)
