enbedd pdf to Excel

Hallo NG

When I try to embedd an pdf to Excel I got only the Icon and not the document. On a other pc it works fine. the diffrent that  can see is on the function list

on the working one its `=EINBETTEN("Acrobat Document","")

on th efailed one =EINBETTEN("Objekt-Manager-Shellobjekt"."")

I checked the regionsettings an the are the same

I checked the pdf Settings and they are the same

What should I do?

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue when trying to embed a pdf file in Excel, is that correct?

Could you try following steps:

Open Acrobat > On the Edit menu, click on Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, select Security (Enhanced) in the Categories list.

Click Protected view to off and uncheck the box next to Enable enhanced security > click on OK and try again.

Note: disabling protected view and enhanced security is for troubleshooting purpose only, and not recommended. Please turn the feature back on after troubleshooting is complete.

Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Hi everyone,

I got the same porblem with a Citrix-Client and a Desktop-PC.

On the Desktop the file is embedded as =EINBETTEN("Acrobat Document","") and the file is readable,

on the Citrix-Client it is embedded as =EINBETTEN("Objekt-Manager-Shellobjekt"."") and I just see the icon.

I already tried to uncheck the protected view but that doesn't helped me out.

Any other idea would be very helpful.
