My sequence has disappeared
I am using PP CC 2018 on Windows10 and am new to CC. ( have just moved from PP 5)
After 2 days on a project (regularly saving) I loaded up yesterday to find that my sequence was not in the timeline and was not listed in my project files.
I went back to the autosave and cannot find the sequence there either (in any version).
Any suggestions as to where it could be? Have I done something naive to make it disappear?
What should I do?
Appreciated,
John

Search for the sequence in your Project Panel. It may just be closed. It may be in a bin. When you find it, double click on it to open it back into the timeline.

Thank you Meg.
I wish it was there in the project panel, but it's not. And not in the project panel of any saved or autosaved version.
Is it possible that it is hidden somewhere?

As a generally good idea. always create a bin called Sequences and always put all sequences into that bin. This makes them very easy to find.

I have just had a similar issue, I have been using Premiere Pro professionally for the past 5 years, this recent update is a serious problem.
I have just lost a mornings work, I had a sequence in my timeline, I played back full screen and when returning to the timeline it was simply gone. What was left was the timeline I started working on 3 hrs ago...I checked previous versions I checked Auto Saves it was nowhere to be seen.
Either I need to be sectioned or there are some serious issues with this latest release...

Hi Peru Bob,
12.1.1 (Build 10) and I'm working on Mac OS 10.11.6
I managed to find the right autosave version eventually which was weirdly numbered 06 even though it came after 07, 08, 09 etc (see image) have no idea how that has happened.
Mre importantly I don't know how I could watch the sequence in the program monitor full screen and then when going back to normal size finding the sequence is now a version that was a few hours older in the timeline???!
Very worrying.
Thanks for responding anyway.
