Hello everyone.

As the title says, i'm new to Adobe Premiere, and i don't understand how to select a clip, there's no option at all.

There is the attach marker and the detach marker but they don't work, after the detach, the selected clip continues. The bookmarks doesn't have sense because they doesn't work too. What have i to use?

Thanks in advance,

Simone.

This is very very basic stuff.

Might want to get yourself a subscription a Lynda.com or

start here:Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Adobe Premiere Pro User Guide

Selecting a clip is by mouse clicking and drag from Source Monitor to timeline (if that is what you mean)

Speeding up is by right click on clip: Speed/Duration.

Well. I have to take a clip from a video. I don't know how to do it, i'm from Filmora which is simpler.

As you see here, i selected the start and the end of the clip but i don't know how to cut and/or speed up it.

Do yourself a favour and stick to Filmora for the time being and get to know Premiere before starting a project.

Premiere has a very high learning curve.

You are going about this all the wrong way.

Double click on clip in Project window

opens in Source Monitor

Set in and out points

Drag clip to timeline.
