Premiere Pro open glitch

when i open premiere it always opens on the corner of my screen and when i go to click on it the computer just makes that noise as if an additional dialogue is open but i cant see a additional window... i have restarted the computer numerous times left for a few days still just keeps doing same thing. fghj.PNG

Ha i didn't realize the 2018 version was a trial... though i thought id mention in case someone else has this issue i went back and deleted my 6.0 folder for premiere and it now opens fine.

What version of Premiere pro your using. Try resetting premiere pro preferences -

Here is how you can reset the preferences:

Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while launching Premiere Pro. You can release the Alt key or Option key when the splash screen appears.

i dont know what version im using though it is old, i cant check the version with the help tab because i cannot click anywhere on the program. Pressing alt whilst opening the program didn't appear to do anything either.

It is CS6. You can see it in task manager.

Resetting preferences will usually fix a problem like this.

You have only one monitor attached; correct?

Try resetting Preferences manually as follow -

  • Close Premiere pro
  • Go to the following folder-  <drive>\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Delete the folder & files inside the Adobe Premiere Pro folder.
  • Relaunch Premiere pro.
