I'm using an old version of Microsoft publisher that allows me to print to PDF. I've formed a banner (800mm x 2000mm) but printing to PDF creates 44 A4 Landscape pages. Is there a way I can merge all the pages together so the become one PDF file for the banner I'm trying to create and upload artwork to our printers?

Not with the free Adobe Reader. You would need either Adobe Acrobat or a subscription to the web-based PDF Pack service to be able to do it.

I have a current PDF file that consists of 44 PDF pages. I want to merge all the pages together so that they basically become one page. Would this function do this?

No, that would require some kind of custom solution. It's not easy merging PDF pages without any margins to a single page...

This is possible with Adobe Acrobat and an imposition plugin.

Had a look but you can only merge 2 pages it appears. I have 44. Plus it doesn't remove bleed margins from the merge. Also I think the software is about $2k?
