I'm using RoboHelp HTML 7.01 and have created 24 Webhelp systems. I've been asked to create help linked to the Help button on our application's user messages. I've read RoboHelp's help on context-sensitive help and it says: Webhelp window support is available only with the context-sensitive Help API. What is this API? Do I need to create separate help systems just for this type of help? Can I use RoboHelp HTML to create it? Can someone tell me how I should proceed and what tools do I need? Thank you, Carole

Hi Carole

The API you need to use will likely depend on the application. If the application is a web page the WebHelp API is basically a javascript file. You will find it in the following location:
\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 7\CSH API

I believe the name of the file is:
RoboHelp_CSH.js

Other application types will likely require different APIs in that folder.

Cheers... Rick
