Lightroom Classic, new version 7.4

I have updated lightroom classic (to 7.4)

Now I can no longer import images from my cameras into my lightroom.

I get the message: the following images cannot be imported, because they cannot be read or the target file is write-protected.

Importing them into Bridge works well. Importing these images from the Bridge created file into lightroom classic is also not possible - same message as above.

Need urgently help. Thank you

Did you check to see if the target file (or folder) is write protected?

How are you importing? MOVE, COPY, ADD or COPY as DNG?
