Hi there,
I am Mac OS 10.13.5 with Lightroom Classic 7.4 and Camera 10.4.
Everything is working fine - ( I updated to High Sierra some days ago ) but if I do the conversion to DNG the preview is getting pink.
If I am opening the DNG in the develop module everything looks fine..
I use the compression in the DNG converter !
Anybody having the same and having a solution ???
Best Dirk

Hi Dirk,
Sorry that your images are getting a pink cast after you use the DNG converter to convert them to DNG.
We'd like some more info to better diagnose the issue, could you please provide us the following info:
Also, it would be worth taking a look at this discussion DNG files have pink cast in preview & thumbnails mac and let us know if it helps.
Thanks,
Akash

DNG Conversion:
If I click on the pink thumbnail in the Develop Module it show a version without the pink cast. If I move to another thumbnail it changes after a few seconds back to pink !

Hi Dirk,
The Canon 1DX MK II supported in Lightroom since version 6.5/CC 2015.5, I'd recommend you to directly import the originals images into Lightroom(select copy as DNG) and then see if the issue persists.
Thanks,
Akash

Hi Akash,
of course is the Canon 1DX MKII supported. I am a professional photographer working with that combo sind the camera came out. The problem must be somewhere in Lightroom or in the MacOS.
I am importing .cr2 into LR doing all the development stuff and export them. If everything is done I convert the .cr2 to DNG.
That is where the problem starts.
When I am reading the other chat I don't see any real answer !!! Does Adobe know where the problem could be ?
Possible solutions ? Going back to the LR Version before ?

This seems to be strange behavior. I have followed your work flow. I downloaded a CR2 image from the same model you are using. I made adjustments to it using Lightroom Classic CC 7.4. Then I exported it as a DNG file. There was no pink cast. It looked the way it should look. Only difference is that I'm using Windows 10. Don't know if that's significant.

Hey Jim, I think there is a big difference 🙂 Best Dirk

If you are doing the DNG conversion without the compression = no pink previews !!!

Hi Akash!
I have the same problem, too. Since today. Only on the MacPro, MacBookPro is not affected. With both Leica M 240 DNGs and RAW files from an EOS 5DIII...

After reading the thread in the response from Akash it seems like this has something to do with the OS's ability to read the DNG. Does it matter where the DNG is made from? Do you have the same result if you Export as a DNG from Lr?
