I publish online and first page will not play audio unless you start
it again then it plays. I need it to play sound the first time someone clicks on it.

We are sorry for the trouble. Could you please confirm how the audio is placed in the file, you placed it through media panel or you have created a button. Would you mind sharing your InDesign file?

Did you try place the audio as a movie? I have sometimes done that when audio did not preload as it should.
I know that some web content in social media, even if it is video, will play silently unless clicked (in fb, twitter or instagram).
The online file is no longer available, so perhaps you solved it some other way?

it works but you have to click to another page and then click back to the home page. That's when you hear the music.
I need my customers to hear it when they first click on it.

Hi Roland,
Thanks for sharing the file. We checked the file and the Published Online document in different browsers. It's working fine in Firefox and Microsoft Edge. The issue is happening with Chrome. What's the browser you are using at your end?
We'll be checking the InDesign file and try to get more information for you soon.

When I email someone it does the same thing. What can I do if it's chrome. It also does the same thing on facebook.
Most of my clients use chrome, so what can I do.
