The PDF form is from the Canadian Government.

The form's link is https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5744e.pdf

I downloaded the form and try to open it with my acrobat professional 2017, however, it won't show me any problem message, after I clicked it, it looks like nothing happens.

I can still open all my other PDF files.

This PDF file worked before, but now it does not.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you not able to open it at all using Acrobat? I can, but it contains errors in some of the scripts that are embedded in it.

Are you double-clicking the file, or opening it via File - Open, inside of Acrobat?

If the former, try the latter. If the latter, then after doing so go to the Window menu and check if it's listed there.

If so, click on the Tile sub-menu (under Window) and then select one of the options listed there.

Yes, I have tried them all. But none of the methods will open the file.

All other pdf files I am dealing with are OK.

What's the exact version of the application you're using? Look under Help - About Adobe Acrobat.

Also, what's your OS version?

BTW, I restarted my computer several times and the problem is not solved. This computer only has office, adobe photoshop and acrobat installed.

When I tried to open this file, the computer seems to start loading as it will open the file, but then nothing happens.

If I open other pdf file, the file will be opened after loading.

I have been using Acrobat Professional since 2006, this is the first time I have this problem and it is so far the only problem I have.

Sorry, yes, that is the latest version available... Not sure what to tell you. You can try a Repair Installation and see if that helps.
