I am having trouble using a "new" brush in Lightroom CC whenever I want to make an adjustment to a particular area. When i click on the + button to start a new brush, my settings do not start at O. Am I doing something wrong.
Hi Sharon,
The brush settings always return to the settings used at the beginning of the prior time used. So, you need to reset them to 0 (or any default) prior to making a brush stroke.
1. Click + “new”
2. Reset the sliders to 0
3. Paint
4. Make further adjustments to sliders
Now if you click “New” again, you’ll get the reset condition from step 2. If you make a paint stroke before resetting, those settings are not remembered.
This is works for the radial and linear gradient tools also.

Hi Sharon,
If you want to quickly clear the settings in your brush or any of the sliders (on any develop panel) to start from zero, double-click on the slider arrow.
