How do I transfer my Lightroom Classic CC set up from desktop to new laptop

Up until now I have been storing my original photo files for importing into Lightroom Classic CC from Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery on the desktop, then organize and develop etc, then back them up onto an external hard drive.  I now need to transfer the remaining original files plus the Lightroom program to a new Microsoft SB laptop which will replace the desktop. I need to have an explanation to follow in plain simple steps as I am elderly and quite new to using Lightroom.
