Playback issues

I know my audio and video are synced correctly, but for some reason when I click play, it does not play correctly. Though the play head is at the beginning of my timeline, it keeps sampling from further down (I know this because I artificially zoomed in in the next clip, and the video that is playing is from that portion.)

It will not render, but when I export  the timeline everything is fine. Any advice?

Try deleting the Media Cache Database and the Media Cache Files.
