Taking Forever to Convert Presets to XMP

So, I finally updated my Lightroom Classic CC and when I opened the app, it says to wait while user presets are updated to XMP. It's been an hour and I can't use Lightroom. Is it supposed to take so long?

No, I would not expect it to take that long.

But- How many Presets do you have?

And what LR version did you update from?

Pleas post a screen-clip (or copy&paste) the top 10 lines of your LR System Info.  LR MENU: HELP > SYSTEM INFO...
