I have started the free trial of adobe premier pro but when I try to open it, I get the message: Adobe Premier Pro cannot find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again.

I have updated my computer and still get this message. Do I need to download the drivers and if so, where can I get them. I have a dell Inspiron 15, 5000 series.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Dina-Marie

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

•nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

•ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version

From what I can find online, that laptop has only 768 in vertical pixels on the screen. PrPro requires a minimum of 1280x800 ... so that vertical height will mean some menus are unusable in the app, they will have parts below your screen's bottom.

Not useful, really. Can't even find which Intel graphics 'engine' it has. But the 768 is a show-stopper.
