Acrobat DC very slow to open after reboot

If I shut my PC down for any reason, after I turn it back on Acrobat DC takes up to ten minutes before it will respond. I cant open any PDF documents and can't even open the program itself.  Very frustrating.

Hello Cliffh,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, please reboot the machine once and check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Acrobat.

Uncheck these two options from Edit>Preferences>General> and uncheck Show online Storage when opening files and Show online storage when saving files and see if this brings any difference.

The record shows that you are subscribed to the Acrobat Pro DC team license.

Try resetting the preferences of Acrobat once, to reset the preferences, please refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Navigate to Adobe Acrobat's Preferences from Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)>Uncheck 'Enable Enhanced Security'.

Note: Uncheckeing the enhanced security option is only for testing purpose, please enable it back.

If the issue persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Acrobat Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Acrobat back from Download Adobe Acrobat DC (Continuous) for Enterprise or VIP licenses
