Hi,

I have Acrobat pro 2015 installed on Windows 10. I am facing an issue while saving PDF after editing i.e after adding PDF to documents or after editing . My problem is that whenever I try to save file after editing it takes about 15-20 minute to save. I have upgraded ram to 8 GB. Need to find the solution to this problem.

Thanks.

Hi Arshd,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue while trying to save pdf, is that correct?

Please try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Check if an update is available for Acrobat using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again.

2- Try the troubleshooting steps given in this forum thread under correct answer and check if that helps: "save as" pop up box does not allow me to save the document.

3- If that doesn't work, try resetting preferences for Acrobat using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.  reboot the machine after resetting preferences and try again.

Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version in Acrobat: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Let us know if you need any help.

Hi Shivam,

Thanks for help. I had already tried these settings but nothing works. Here are the steps I have already tried-

1. Unchecked checking online storage for opening and saving files.

2. Unchecked optimization for fast web view.

3. Disabled enhanced protected option.

4. Repaired installation from help menu.

5. Check for updates

6. Reinstalled Acrobat pro on LAPTOP

cleared temp, prefetch etc.

Are there any other options  beside these...

Hi Arshd,

Could you confirm dot version of Acrobat installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version in Acrobat: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Does this happen with a specific pdf file or with all the files?

Also, try creating a new user account on the machine, login into account, launch Acrobat and check.
