Parenting isn't working like it's supposed to, I've tried the order of linking the layers both ways, nothing, one never links to the other with any combination of linking or changing positions.
So what do I need to do, scrap what I've spent two hours working on and create a new project from scratch to see if it will maybe work when I get to this point?
Please post a screen cap of your setup or even better, a screen recording while this is happening. Maybe all of your layers are locked? There are way too many things to guess here.
