I am trying to import a rather long video in Adobe Premier so that I can edit and keep just a few clips in my new Adobe created video.  Is there a way to do this?  It will not let me import the file.  It is a VOB file, and I also converted it to wmv file, and still will not import.  Thanks for any help.

Hi marcien80277484,

I was skimming through unanswered posts and stumbled upon yours. Did you ever get your question figured out? I'm pretty sure that you can import VOB files. A couple years ago, I believe I imported VOB files just like regular movie files. Is the VOB file from a DVD?

A few other questions:

What version of Premiere Pro are you using (or did you use)?

Does the VOB file play outside of Premiere Pro on your computer?

I assume that you're on some version of Windows, corect? What opperating system are you on?
