playing a clip in the source window from the selected in and out points

is there are a trick or shortcut to playing a  clip in the source window from the selected in and out points. i want to see and  fine tune the clip before it goes into the sequence. i know i can start in the source from using the "go to in (Shift I), which is helpful, but the clip play right past the out marker.
