troubles from dragging out the sound as well when editing a video downloaded from youtube. any solution to include the sound as well? thanks

The issue that you have described looks like an issue with the source patching wherein the source indicator for the audio tracks might not be enabled. (Please check if A1 is highlighted for the source indicator on the audio track)

You may want to go through this small video, this explains source patching and track targeting.
