Hello everyone,

I have imported an SRT caption file into Premiere (12.1.2). It works fine, but when I change the font size/color in the Captions panel of Premiere, the changes do not show up on the video. There are no font parameters in the SRT file. Any suggestions?

Select all the captions in the captions panel. Apply the front characteristics you want. Do they show up now? I assume you have the caption stream over the video in the timeline.

Thanks for the reply, Stan... Yes, the stream is above the video. I am able change the font properties in the Captions panel, but the changes don't show up on the screen....

UPDATE - completely shutting down and rebooting the comp fixed it. Go figure!

Other things to try are resetting workspace, or just saving, closing, and reopening the project. No single strategy always works.

Thanks for letting us know what worked for you.
