Avenir Font in Muse - used to export as text and now exporting as image

I'm using Adobe Muse for a branded iPad app we use at company events. I have always used the Avenir font family and when I export the site to HTML, the font exported as text, which meant when you zoom in it's still very clear. Our external IT guy recently wiped and reinstalled my Mac to upgrade it to the new OS. I had to download Muse again, and now when I open my Muse files the font is only showing in the System Fonts and the text is exporting as an image, which looks fuzzy. Does anyone know why this might have changed and how I can get Avenir to export as text in Muse?

TIA

Sarah

This can’t be the case! Avenir never(!) was exported as text. It is a system font and no standard font or a web font. May be, you own Avenir is a web font version, bought as such in he web. In this case, and if it is installed correctly, it appears under the category „Web Fonts“ in Muse’s font menus, and you may choose it from there.

When and why system font are necessarily exported as images, you may read in my answer 4 here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2357163

Thanks! It's definitely showing up as text in the Avenir font on previous HTML exports up until very recently - maybe my predecessor purchased it as a web font and it just hasn't transferred across when the IT guy wiped my Mac. She was more savvy with these things than me. I'll see if I can find a purchase history anywhere. Thanks again!
