LR Classic CC crashing on import

This only just started today when I tried to import out latest wedding into LR.

The second I click Import, it crashes every single time and is completely unusable.

Anyone else experience this and found a solution?

PC is AMD 8 core

32GB RAM, SSD, AMD R390 GPU

I've updated everything but still doesn't work

Have you tried resetting Lightroom preference file as described in Method 1 in How to set Lightroom Classic CC preferences

I've noticed my pc keeps crashing file explorer and denying access to bit locker drives.

Decided to do an OS rebuild and see how it goes from there.

Hopefully LR will be OK. If not, I'll give this a try. Thanks
