Codec Motion Jpeg.avi Premiere 2018 no run

Hi, I have been using Brinno cameras for several years to make timelapses that give me a Motion Jpeg.avi video file. until the 2017 premiere version I have not had problems to play or edit, but the new 2018 does not recognize these files, is there any way to solve this? I'm looking for codec but there's no way ...

Sorry for the frustration. Here is the reason: Dropped support for QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs

You can choose to either work in CC2017 or transcode the clips in CC2017 and work in CC2018.
