Hi, I have about 25 .prproj files all with sequences about an hour long.

I am creating a master edit which combines cuts of sequences of all of the 25 projects.

Rather than importing all 25 of these projects into one master project, I wondered if it's possible to import them as reference project sequences. So I would individually edit the .prproj files, and when opening the Master project the child projects would have updated to show the changes.

I looked into shared projects, but couldn't get them to sync.

Using v 12.1.2 on OSX 10.11.6

What you asking isn't possible.

My best idea is to export out Cineform clips from the individual projects for use in the compilation.
