Lightroom 7.5 is running very slowly on High Sierra. Is there a fix please?

Have these images already been edited? Do you do a lot of brushing and or spot healing on your photos?

I do not use spot healing or brushes much. I cut and paste settings a lot. I can't see a pattern other than that. Sometimes it stalls when navigating between pics (either edited or unedited) and then sometimes when I paste settings.

A possibility could be that your anti-virus is checking your photos, and it should not be doing so. Try turning off the antivirus for an experiment and see if the problem in Lightroom goes away.
