You don't, except for specialized functions of ColdFusion.
ColdFusion
does not communicate with the user, the web server does. It
is the web
server that needs to worry about http/https proxies and what
not.
The request flow is this.
Client sends request to web server.
Web server sees request is for ColdFusion resource and hands
it off to
ColdFusion
ColdFusion process requested CFML and builds response.
Response is
returned to web server
Web server receives response and send it on to client.
Proxies are going to be between the web server and the
client, not the
web server and ColdFusion.
