User presets disappeared, still show in windows explorer folder

Today while working on a slew of photos, I noticed that some of my User Presets in the Develop Module had just disappeared. When I checked the folder in Windows Explorer to see where they were, they still existed in the correct folder along with others that continued to show up just fine (....\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings\User Presets). They all show up as .xmp files.

When I try to import them again from that folder, they will not show up. Tried exiting LR, restarting PC, etc. These were user presets I created, and can't figure out how to resinstall them or fix this issue.

This is a question that get asked and answered very frequently. When your preset includes applying a raw-profile, and you've selected a non-raw image, then the preset does not show. Same for camera-specific raw-profiles when you've selected an image from a different camera.
