Good afternoon,

Recently we have had issues with Adobe DC version 15.009.20069 and Adobe X Pro 10.1.16 being installed on the same computer, when trying to open hyperlinks embedded in an excel document or off the Web we get the following errors document does not exist or Adobe has crashed,. The only fix i have found is to uninstall DC. Then everything works as it should. Is there a compatibility issue that has popped up recently.

Hi countyc,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are receiving an error when trying to open hyperlinks, is that correct?

Could you try updating Acrobat to the latest patch using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again.

Are you opening hyperlinks in a pdf (converted from an excel document)? If yes, could you let us know how the pdf was created?

Also, would it be possible to share the pdf file you are working with to replicate the issue at our end? To share the file here in the forums, refer to the steps given in this link: How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

You may also share the link for the pdf via private message - How Do I Send Private Message

Let us know if you need any help.
