Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a lot of crashes in Premiere. Most of the time while trimming in the timeline or going to the effects panel. It's not new, but right now, Premiere is unusable. It's costing so much time and frustration. I'm sending lots a lots of crashreports, but have never heard anything from Adobe. Not really professional.
I'm using the latest version, the latest version of my drivers, the latest windows 10 updates. What can I do?

In my experience, this isn't normal. Start with Steps 2N, 3D, G and H, and 4D below. Report back.

Hi, thank for taking time to answer. let me see:
2N: I don't have Quicktime, so that will be ok
3D: Security over Premiere. I don't feel comfortable without F-secure software.
3G: Every file is local and in the same folder on my harddrive
3H: See answer above
4D: I need all these programs to do my job. I think Adobe should make decent software, right? It feels like a alpha version of Premiere while paying a monthly fee for it.

Watch the video linked to for that entry.

You don't need games to do this job. You could reasonably be expected to need email and office, but those should be run on a separate machine. Your edit system is for editing alone.

Most of my crashes in the past year were caused by plugins I had installed to Premiere. (Mainly the REDGiant Universe plugin.)
If I were you I would start from scratch plugins wise by uninstalling all of them too see if that fixes your crashing frequency.

Thanks for replying. I'm not using any plug-ins at the moment.
