Sony RX100 Mark VI [Lightroom crashes when Develop module is selected]

Am using Lightroom CC Classic 7.5, and have updated Adobe Camera Raw.  Windows 10.  Imported RAW and JPEG photos from the Mark VI camera.  They show up in the Lightroom CC Classic Library. However they  will not develop. The application hangs up when I choose a photo and click on the Develop function, and then it sends an error message back to Adobe, and the application shuts down.  Can you help?.

Try Lightroom Preferences > Performance, disable Use Graphics Processor
