Exporting markers into skip points during viewing.

So,

I am creating showreels in PPCC and I would like to be able to create points at the beginning of each project on the same timeline so they can be easily accessible when shown to clients, almost like chapter select on the good old fashioned DVDs.

Name the Chapter markers, then export to Cineform YUV 10 bit (under QuickTime format).

Unfortunately not..

I am working on mac and potplayer isn't compatible.

Have you tried VLC? That's what I use.
