Premiere Pro CC won't open

When I try to open Premiere, it starts with the splash screen and then closes. There's no error message or loading indicator. I tried to run it as administrator, but that didn't work either. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, but nothing's working.

There was an issue like this that someone had, but it's still unanswered so I couldn't learn from that. I've been looking all over the Internet for some solution, but I can't get it to work. I have to do actual work and this is just really annoying.

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

•nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

•ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version

Hi john-roccoc69362394,

Sorry for the launch issue. As suggested by John T Smith, it can be an issue with GPU drivers. Please update/downgrade them.

Are there any third party plugins installed in the machine for Premiere Pro? If yes, uninstall them and try launching.

Please share the system specs with us.

Thanks,

Vidya
