I have been having an issue with PDF files converted from DWG files opening in Acroat DC pro. The converted files take roughly 20-30 seconds to load between every action.

So far I've tried.

     Reinstalling/Repairing

unchecking both online storage options in general>preferences

unchecked "set protected view" and enable enhanced security

     deleted adobe folder within appdata/roaming

Any other suggestions?

Hello Kristoffera,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, what is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify, refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Which operating system/version are you on?

Make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Reader 19.008.20074 installed, check for any pending updates from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader and check.

Have you tried with any other PDF file and checked or is it with the specific PDF files of DWG?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Many DWG files and especially those from CAD programs (such as AutoCAD) are exceptionally complex with potentially thousands of small vector items per page. Such pages are fairly complex and by their very nature require significant processing time (and processor power) to render.

If you can post a sample of such a file (using Acrobat's Send & Track facility or DropBox, for example), we might be able to confirm such a diagnosis.
