Checking when a pdf file was accessed

Hi,

I would like to check when (date and time) and for how long (duration of each session) a pdf file that is stored on my computer was opened/accessed for reading. How can I do that?

If this is only supposed to record what's going on your own computer then it's possible to create a custom-made script to record this information, but it is a very complex task.
