I have a new laptop and I reistalled Lightroom 5, but lost all leywords on my photos. I understand that i must have done things in the wrong order, but I have no idea what to do now. I uninstalled Lightroom, but I suppose I must delete everything else that has the name of "Lightroom" on it, f ex "Cataloc.ircat"...I am totally amateur on this, so I hope someone here can help me. I have all my photos on an external harddisc.

All your work, including keywords, is stored in a Catalog. ie. the 'old' catalog- .LRCAT file from the 'old' computer.

Did you copy the Lightroom Catalog from the 'old' computer to the new laptop?

If you imported all your photos to a 'new' empty catalog, then it will not have anything of your work and keywords.

Re-installing Lightroom will not help.

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
