Hi malcolmj,

As mentioned in the description above, you are getting a pop-up to buy Acrobat DC in Acrobat XI, could you check if you haven't downloaded the trial of Acrobat XI? If yes, try entering the license information for Acrobat XI as the following forums threads discuss:

Annoying Acrobat DC pop-ups

I have Acrobat Pro XI - How do i stop the Acrobat DC pop up??

Thanks,

Hi Shivam

This started happening when I had to get a new MacBook Pro because

my old one died. I did not ask for Acrobat DC. I do have serial numbers

for Acrobat Pro versions that date back to the first version.

All I want is get my Acrobat Pro XI, Illustrator and Photoshop

working as they did on my old MacBook Pro. I do not want Acrobat DC.

What do I do to achieve this? Should I reinstall each of these?

     Thanks

Yes. Uninstall the current versions and install the ones you have a license

for and want to use.

The installers are available on Adobe's website.

That appears to have worked for Acrobat Pro XI. I fortunately had the

"dmg". I don't have the dmg's for Illustrator and Photoshop since there

were upgrades to earlier versions. Where would I find the Illustrator

CS5 and Photoshop CS5 installers on the Adobe website?

   Thanks

Hi Shivam,

I can login and get to "Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

but if I click on it nothing happens.??? I downloaded the "javaforosx"

in case it might be needed during operation. Not a likely solution since

I can't even choose anything to install. I originally upgraded from CS2

to CS3 to CS5. My registration numbers circa 2008 are

What am I doing wrong?

Hi malcolmj,

Could you try using a different web browser to download CS5 products and check if that works?

Also, would it be possible to share the screenshot when trying to download CS5 products on the machine?

To share the screenshot here in the forums, refer to the steps given in this link:

https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Let us know how it goes.
