Camera profiles being converted to B&W in LR CC Classic 8

I just upgraded to Lightroom CC Classic 8.0 and am now finding that custom camera profiles that I created in the past using the DNG profile editor have been converted to B&W profiles. New profiles that I create are also being converted to B&W profiles. I'm currently using DNG profile editor 1.0.0.47, although I also had the issue with  1.0.0.46. When I browse to the profiles list in the develop module, I see my profiles have been added to the Legacy group with "B&W" appended to their names. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so, is there a workaround? I'm not beyond thinking this is user error, but I've made many profiles in the past and have never had this issue. Thanks for any tips.

Did you look in all profile groups? Your custom profiles should not be converted to B&W, but they should be duplicated to get a color version and a B&W version. The color versions should be in a group that is simply called ‘Profiles’, I believe.
