Hi !

Since we have updated LR, we are not in the possibbility to use the spot removal option, the system blocks completely.

Is there any way to solve this problem, or could we "undo" the update?

Turn off the GPU acceleration in LR. Go to Preferences, then click on the Performance tab, then uncheck "Use Graphics Processor".

If this doesn't help, then you have encountered a known deficiency in LR, if you do a lot of brushing and/or a lot of spot healing, Lightroom will slow down and appear to come to a stop for a few seconds. Some things you can try:

Working fine here. So please state the Exact problem you are having. Saying it Doesn't work doesn't mean much.

Open it and take a screen shot of what you are seeing.

The system keeps thinking, and doesn't react at all. Not much of a screenshot I can do. Sometimes the screen gets black, sometimes the computer blocks completely.

If the spot removal is still on, and the computer "wakes up", you see lines and stripes all over the picture, where the mouse has been moved to.

You have a hardware problem.

First thing to do is turn off the GPU option in LR. LR Preferences, Performance tab, un-check use the GPU.

Then restart LR and your system and test.

If that doesn't help then there is some other hardware fault that is causing the system to Lock UP (what I think your are referring to as block).

Could be an overheating issue. Try blowing out the dust in your system and test.
